Accent keyless access failure
Summary of the thread
The keyless access on a 2005 Hyundai Accent diesel stopped working, with an error code indicating a potential issue with the door electronics. Possible causes include a bad door switch or a faulty door actuator cable harness. The solution involved removing the door panel to inspect the cable and plug connection, which was confirmed by a workshop to be the problem, leading to a successful repair.

Thanks! Where's that cable and plug connection located? Easy to get to, or do I need to take apart the whole door panel?

Yeah, you need to remove the door panel to access the harness for the door lock actuator. Given the error code and keyless entry issue, might be worth getting a pro to look at it. When mine failed, the shop said it was the cable.

Thanks, helpful to hear your experience! The workshop confirmed the cable as the problem, and the repair cost 95€. Sorted now, at least.

Had a similar problem with my Accent. Sounds like a bad door switch or maybe the door actuator cable harness. Checked the cable and plug connection for damage or corrosion?
