Accent smartphone connection issue
Summary of the thread
A 2005 Hyundai Accent diesel with 44,130 km is experiencing smartphone connection issues, with error memory indicating function restriction errors. Initially suspected to be incorrect pairing, further investigation reveals occasional radio skipping, suggesting a broader electrical issue. Electrical problems? Now that you mention it, sometimes the radio skips. But that's it. You think it's more than just the phone?

With those symptoms, I'd bet it's more than just a simple pairing issue. Mine turned out to be some module messing with the system. Let a workshop run diagnostics, it will save you time.

Okay, you convinced me. Dropped it off at the shop, and you were spot on! Turns out, it was a faulty module causing the phone connection issues. 45€ later and it's all fixed. Thanks for the heads-up!

That's weird! Sounds familiar. I had a similar connectivity meltdown with my old BMW 3 Series. Different brand, but were there any other weird electrical problems?
