Accord Blower Motor AUC Sensor
Summary of the thread
The blower motor in a 2008 Honda Accord stopped working, and the initial suspicion was a faulty AUC sensor cable or plug. After checking the fuses and reconnecting the sensor without success, diagnostic data and technical service bulletins pointed to the AUC sensor as the issue. The solution was to replace the AUC sensor, which resolved the problem and restored the blower motor's functionality.

I checked all the HVAC fuses, but the problem is still there. I also tried disconnecting and reconnecting the AUC sensor. The diagnostic data points to the AUC sensor, and I've seen technical service bulletins and other Honda owners mention it. Were your symptoms the same, and was the AUC sensor the issue?

Alright, if you've gone through the fuses and reseated the connector with no luck and are getting a solid reading pointing to the sensor, then yeah, it's probably the sensor itself. Honestly, at that point, I just took mine to a workshop. Saved myself the headache. They diagnosed the same thing and swapped it out. Cost me 95€ including the sensor and labor.

Thanks for the help. I took my Accord to a shop, and they confirmed the AUC sensor was bad and replaced it. It cost 95€ for the part and labor. The blower motor is working now.

Hey, I had something similar happen with my Accord. Blower just quit. I'd double-check all the fuses first, even the ones that don't seem related to the HVAC system. Sometimes a weird short can mess things up. Also, did you try unplugging and plugging the AUC sensor back in? Might just be a loose connection. Where did you read about the AUC being the culprit?
