Accord Hybrid Rough Running Stalling
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Honda Accord Hybrid was experiencing rough running, stalling at idle, and jerking during acceleration, with the check engine light on. The suspected cause was a defective fuel pressure sensor, but faulty cable or plug connections were also considered. After consulting with others who had similar issues, it was confirmed that the fuel pressure sensor and its connector were the problem. Replacing these components resolved the issue.

Thanks for the insight. I haven't checked the fuel trims yet, but that's a good call. I'll give that a look. Was the fuel pressure sensor the actual cause in your case? What exactly was the problem, if you don't mind me asking?

Yes, the fuel pressure sensor was the culprit. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to confirm and replace it. If the connection is faulty, it is hard to find the fault.

Appreciate the advice. Took it to the workshop, and it was indeed the fuel pressure sensor and its connector, just like you said. Replaced it for 95€ and everything's running smoothly again. Thanks!

I had a similar issue with my Accord. Those symptoms – rough running, stalling – point to fuel delivery issues. Have you checked the fuel trims? High trims can be a sign of a vacuum leak, but a faulty fuel pressure sensor would definitely cause similar behavior. It's like trying to run a marathon with a clogged fuel line.
