Accord Hybrid Washer Fluid Sensor Issue

Alright, my 2020 Honda Accord Hybrid is throwing me a curveball. I'm getting a 'Washer Fluid Low' warning, but the windshield washer system is completely dead. I checked the fluid level, and it seemed fine. Anyone else run into this? Is there a hidden sensor or something I'm missing?

Summary of the thread

A 2020 Honda Accord Hybrid was experiencing a 'Washer Fluid Low' warning despite the windshield washer system being non-functional and the fluid level appearing adequate. Possible causes included a faulty pump or frozen lines. However, the issue was resolved by replacing a faulty fluid level sensor, which was causing the erroneous warning.

Greetings. A malfunctioning windshield washer system in your 2020 Honda Accord Hybrid, accompanied by an error memory storage, does indeed present a quandary. Have you verified the functionality of the pump itself? It is plausible that the pump has suffered a failure, despite the apparent adequacy of the wiper fluid level. Furthermore, has the system been subjected to freezing temperatures, potentially causing a blockage within the lines?

Good points! I hadn't thought about the pump itself. But how would I go about testing that? And about the freezing, could it be possible that some lines are blocked, even though the reservoir is in a non-freezing area?

To ascertain the pump's operational status, one might employ a multimeter to assess whether the pump is receiving electrical power upon activation of the windshield washer system. Regarding the potential for frozen lines, it is conceivable that localized freezing could transpire within sections of the system exposed to colder ambient conditions, irrespective of the reservoir's temperature. It is advisable to seek counsel from a qualified automotive technician to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the system's integrity.

Thanks for the advice! Turns out, the fluid level sensor was faulty. Even though the reservoir was full, it kept throwing the error. Replaced the sensor for 25€, and everything's working fine now. Appreciate the help!
