Adam Damping Adjustment Fault

Experiencing a damping adjustment fault on my 2015 Vauxhall Adam with a gasoline engine. 134293 km on the clock. Error stored, warning light on, and the ride is bumpy. I've checked for visible damage, but everything looks normal. Suspect a defective cable or plug connection, but not sure where to start. Anyone else had a similar suspension issue on an Adam?

Sounds familiar. I had almost the same symptoms on my old Renault Megane a few years back. The ride turned super harsh all of a sudden. The damping went completely off! Nightmare on bumpy roads. Did you have a look at the sensors?

I did check the sensors visually for any obvious damage, but I haven't tested them electronically. Which sensors were causing the issue on your Megane, and how did you diagnose it?

On my Megane, the error came from the rear axle damping sensor. I didn't have the equipment to test properly, so I just went to the workshop around the corner. They read out the error codes and told me right away. Best to get yours checked professionally.

Okay, thanks for the suggestion! I feared that might be the case. I'll take it to a workshop and have them diagnose the sensors properly. I hoped I could fix it myself, but I think this one is beyond my current capabilities. The repair ended up costing me 95€ including sensor replacement.
