Adam Defrost Air Distribution Fault

I suspect there's a problem with my 2015 Vauxhall Adam (gasoline engine). The car has 118239 km on the clock. I suspect the defrost air distribution flap is faulty. The error memory has stored an error and the heating output seems too low. Could this be a defective cable or plug connection? Anyone familiar with these symptoms?

Low heating output and an error code, eh? Have you checked the basic stuff first, like coolant level? Is the engine reaching normal operating temperature? Sometimes a simple thing can cause weird symptoms.

I did check the coolant level and it seems okay. The engine temperature seems normal too. Where should I be looking next, considering the air distribution seems faulty and the windshield is fogging up?

Hmm, if coolant and temperature are fine, and you're getting fogging, it really does sound like the air distribution. Given the error code and your symptoms, it could be a faulty connection. I'd say it's time to get it to a workshop. Messing with the dashboard can be a pain.

I took it to a local workshop and they found a defective plug connection, just as suspected. Repair cost 95€. Sorted!
