Thanks for the quick response! I'm not familiar with sensor calibration, to be honest. How did you determine that it was a defective connection? Was it difficult to access and check the sensor's cable or plug?

In my case the garage diagnosed it. I wouldn't recommend trying it yourself if you don't have experience with automotive sensors. If the error memory shows a solar sensor fault, and the heating is too low, it very likely is the solar sensor. I suggest that you take your car to a workshop. They will have the required equipment to test and calibrate it. It will cost around 95€.

Thanks for your help! I took it to a workshop as you suggested and they confirmed a defective cable. They were able to repair it and calibrate the sensor. Now my heating is working perfectly. I appreciate your advice!

I had a similar problem with my Vauxhall Adam. Do you have any experience with sensor calibration? It sounds like a defective cable or plug connection. Has your heating output been consistently low or intermittent?
