Adam power window reset
Summary of the thread
After replacing the battery in a 2018 Vauxhall Adam, the power windows stopped functioning due to an error related to the window regulator initialization. The issue likely stems from the system forgetting its settings. Attempts to reset the windows manually were unsuccessful, leading to the solution of having the regulator re-initialized using diagnostic equipment at a garage.

Thanks for the tip! I've tried holding the button in both directions, up and down, for extended periods, but nothing seems to be happening. Is there a specific sequence or a trick to it? Maybe a fuse I should check? I'm not sure if the Corsa's window controls are similar.

Okay, if the simple reset isn't working, chances are the regulator needs to be properly re-initialized using diagnostic equipment. I ended up having to take mine to a workshop that had the right software to do it. The garage sorted it out pretty quickly though.

Took your advice and brought it to a local garage. The window regulator needed to be re-initialized via their diagnostic tool, just like you said. Cost me 290€, but at least the windows are working again. Thanks a bunch for pointing me in the right direction!

Sounds familiar! I've got a Vauxhall Corsa and I had something similar happen after my battery died. Have you tried any kind of window reset procedure? Maybe holding the window switch down for a few seconds after it's fully closed? Or even the other way around?
