Adam seat heater malfunction

Hey, I've got a 2019 Vauxhall Adam with a gasoline engine and I'm having trouble with the seat heating. It doesn't get warm at all, and I pulled the error memory – there's a fault stored related to the seat heater. Mileage is at 170961 km. Has anyone else experienced this?

Oh, that sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Adam. Seat heating was completely dead, and the error code pointed directly to the heating element. Did you check the wiring under the seat, just in case it's something simple like a loose connection?

Yeah, I had a look at the wiring, seemed okay visually but didn't check it with a multimeter. Was your issue intermittent, or did it just stop working completely?

Nah, it was completely dead, no heat whatsoever. I messed around with the connections and fuses for a while but no dice. Ended up being a defective seat heating mat in the seat cushion itself. I’d say bite the bullet and get it checked at a workshop to be sure. Could save you a load of time and frustration!

Thanks for the info! Sounds like I'm facing the same thing. Took it to the workshop today, and they confirmed it's the seat heating mat. Repair will be around 390€. Appreciate the help!
