Adam tire pressure sensor issue

I've got a 2018 Vauxhall Adam with a gasoline engine. A warning light popped up saying the tire pressure is too low. I checked the tires, and they seem fine. There's also an error message in the speedometer display. My OBD reader shows an error related to the tire pressure sensors. Could it just be a flat tire that I can't see?

That sounds suspiciously like a dead tire pressure sensor battery. Those sensors don't last forever, and the system throws fits when they go. Have you checked the actual pressure readings for each tire in the car's menu? Is one showing zero or a very low reading?

I did try to check the individual tire pressures in the car's menu, but it just shows dashes instead of numbers for all the tires. Could that still be the sensor battery, even if it's affecting all of them?

Yes, it absolutely could be the sensor battery. It's unlikely that all your tires are flat simultaneously. The dashes usually mean the system isn't getting any signal from the sensors. Given the error message and that you can't read any pressures, I'm pretty confident it's a faulty sensor, or sensors. I'd recommend getting it checked at a workshop; they can pinpoint which sensor is bad, or confirm if it's something else entirely.

Okay, I took it to a local garage, and you were spot on. They said the tire pressure sensor battery was dead. It cost me 280€ to replace. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!
