AdBlue Empty Error Peugeot 208
Summary of the thread
A Peugeot 208 is displaying an 'AdBlue tank empty' error despite the tank being full, preventing the car from starting. The issue might be due to a defective AdBlue output from the tank to the dosing unit. A similar problem was resolved by checking the AdBlue injector and pump, but professional assistance is recommended for safety. Ultimately, the defect was confirmed and repaired at a workshop for 250€.

Thanks! The tank seems to be full. I haven't checked the injector yet. Where is the AdBlue injector located, and can I check it myself without special tools?

If the tank is full and you're still getting the error, it's almost certainly not a simple fix. The injector is usually near the exhaust system. Unless you're comfortable working on fuel injection systems, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. Better safe than sorry.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions and the cautious advice. I took the car to the workshop as suggested. The AdBlue output from the tank to the dosing unit was defective. The repair cost 250€.

I had a similar problem with my Peugeot 208. Is the tank actually empty, or is the system just reporting it as such? If it's not empty, the issue could be with the AdBlue injector or the pump itself. Have you checked the AdBlue injector?
