Allion electrical malfunctions and error memory issues
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Toyota Allion hybrid is experiencing electrical malfunctions, including a full error memory and non-functional navigation, possibly due to implausible control unit programming. The issue arose spontaneously without recent services or installations. A similar case was resolved by re-flashing the ECU, suggesting that a software update might fix the problem.

No recent services or installations, that's the crazy part! It just started out of the blue. The error memory is flooded with errors, do you remember if you had the navigation failure too?

Yeah, the navigation was totally dead too! The whole thing was acting possessed. Honestly, I tried a few things myself, but in the end, I just took it to a workshop. They re-flashed the ECU, and that fixed everything. Saved me a lot of headaches!

Sounds like I'm resigned to the same fate! Thanks for the info; workshop visit it is. Hopefully, a simple software re-flash will sort the mess out.

Whoa, that sounds rough! I had something similar happen with my Allion. Not sure what year mine is, but it's also a Toyota, and I remember error codes popping up like crazy. Did yours start after any specific event, like a service or a software installation gone wrong?
