Allion power window failure
Summary of the thread
After replacing the battery in a 2008 Toyota Allion, the power windows stopped functioning, and an error related to window regulator initialization appeared. The fuses were checked and found to be fine, suggesting the issue might be linked to the battery swap. A potential solution could involve a reset procedure or using a diagnostic tool, as similar issues have been resolved in workshops.

Thanks for the reply! What kind of reset procedure are you talking about? Is there something specific for the windows that I should be trying?

I can't remember exactly. I think they had to use a diagnostic tool. In the end, it was the workshop that solved the issue. It could be the same in your case. It sounds like some kind of electronic issue.

Thanks! Sounds like I'm going to have to bite the bullet and take it to a workshop. Just got a quote for around 290€, which is a bummer, but at least I know what I'm dealing with now. I appreciate the help!

I had a similar problem with my Toyota, an older Avensis. Windows suddenly stopped working after some electrical work. I'm not sure what exactly fixed it, but did you try any kind of reset procedure?
