Allion solar sensor fault

Hey, my 2020 Toyota Allion with a gasoline engine is throwing a solar sensor fault. I'm getting an error code, and the heating isn't working as well as it should. Could a defective cable or plug really cause this?

I had something similar with my Toyota (not sure what year). Was the heating output noticeably lower than usual? Have you checked the sensor connection?

Yeah, the heating is definitely weaker. Where exactly is that sensor connection located? Is it easy to get to?

Sounds like the same problem. It's probably best to let a workshop check that. Turns out it was a defective cable and plug. They repaired the wiring and replaced the connector. Cost me around 95€.

Thanks for the info! I took it to a shop, and they confirmed it was the cable/plug connection. Got it fixed for about that much. Appreciate the help!
