Almera air suspension fault
Summary of the thread
A 2005 Nissan Almera owner experienced issues with the air suspension, as the car wouldn't lift and was leaning, accompanied by an error message and warning light. The problem was suspected to be a suspension malfunction, possibly due to a bad connection to the air suspension compressor. After inspecting and attempting to fix the connection, a workshop visit confirmed a defective plug connection, which was repaired, resolving the suspension issue.

Thanks for the quick response. I'll check that first. What should I be looking for when I inspect the cable and plug?

Look for any corrosion, loose pins, or damage to the wiring. Sometimes just disconnecting and reconnecting can fix minor connection issues. But given the error messages, it might be good to have a workshop diagnose it, especially if you're not comfortable working with the air suspension.

Thanks for the advice. I tried that, but the problem was still there. A workshop visit confirmed a defective plug connection to the compressor. Repair cost was 95€. The suspension is working now.

Sounds like a suspension issue. I have an Almera too, and those symptoms mirror a problem I had. The ride height was all over the place. Have you checked the cable and plug connections to the air suspension compressor? A bad connection there is often the cause.
