Almera weak battery and flickering lights
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Nissan Almera with a gasoline engine is experiencing weak battery performance and flickering lights at 64,691 kilometers. A potential cause for these issues is identified as a faulty battery sensor, which can disrupt the car's ability to accurately read the battery's condition. The suggested solution is to have the vehicle diagnosed and, if necessary, replace the defective sensor to resolve the problem.

Thanks. I haven't tested the voltage yet. Can you tell me how you figured out it was the voltage sensor?

I'm no expert. After a lot of battery tests, I took it to a workshop. They ran diagnostics and quickly found the battery sensor was bad. It was messing up the car's reading of the battery. They replaced it, and the problem went away. Getting it checked out might be worth it.

Thanks for the advice. I went to a workshop, and they also said it was a defective battery sensor. The repair was 315€, including parts and labor. Thanks for the help.

Huh, that's weird. I have an Almera, too, and had similar issues last year. Weak starts and crazy lights. Did you check the battery voltage? For me, it was a faulty voltage sensor on the battery. Is your car still under warranty?
