Alphard Lighting Fault

I'm having some electrical issues with my 2011 Toyota Alphard (gasoline engine). The mileage is at 78173 km. I'm experiencing a fault in the lighting – the dashboard and tail lights sometimes switch on randomly, plus there's an error stored in the memory. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone experienced something similar?

I have an Alphard, too. I had similar symptoms with the lights. Was it throwing any specific error codes?

No specific error codes that I could find, just a general lighting fault. What was the fix for your Alphard?

Ah, mine turned out to be a faulty light switch. Best get it checked at a workshop.

Thanks! I'll get the light switch and cable connections checked. I just got it fixed; it was indeed a defective cable/plug connection that went into the light switch. Cost me 95€.
