Altima emergency call malfunction

Hey, I'm having a weird issue with my 2016 Nissan Altima with the gasoline engine. The emergency call system seems to be malfunctioning. I keep getting an error stored, an error message pops up in the speedometer, along with a warning light. I'm guessing it's some kind of electrical problem, maybe a bad connection? Anyone else experienced this?

I had something similar happen in my Altima. Was it perhaps a cable or a plug connection?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking! Where was the cable/plug connection located that was causing the issue for you? Trying to narrow down where to start looking before I take it in.

Can't tell you exactly. I brought it to the workshop immediately because I wasn't sure about this system. They told me it was a defective cable or plug connection.

Okay, thanks for the info! I appreciate the help. I'll take it to a shop. They said it was a defective cable/plug connection and charged me 95€ for the repair. At least it's fixed now!
