Amaze AC not cooling
Summary of the thread
The A/C system in a 2015 Honda Amaze diesel with high mileage was not cooling, and an error was stored in the memory. Possible causes included a faulty relay switch, loose belt tensioner, or pressure sensor issues. The suggested solution was to check the relay switch and consult a workshop for a proper diagnosis. The problem was ultimately identified as undervoltage, which was resolved by a professional repair.

Thanks! How would I check the relay switch and pressure sensor? Is that something I can do myself without special tools?

Checking the relay switch involves swapping it with another identical relay in the fuse box to see if the A/C starts working. You'll need to consult your owner's manual for the fuse box layout. However, messing with the pressure sensor can be tricky as it involves the refrigerant in the A/C system. Given the error code you mentioned, it might be undervoltage in the vehicle causing the compressor to shut off. To be sure, it would be best to take it to a trusted workshop to avoid damaging the a/c system. They can properly diagnose it. They should also have the proper equipment to recharge the air conditioning system if needed.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and it turned out to be undervoltage, like you suggested. They fixed it for 240€. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar problem with my Amaze. Does the compressor even attempt to kick on? Sometimes it can be a relay switch issue, which is a cheap fix. I would start there. Also check the belt tensioner, a loose belt can cause issues with the compressor engaging, as well as the pressure sensor.
