Amaze Airbag Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Honda Amaze owner is experiencing an airbag fault, indicated by a constantly lit warning lamp. Despite checking fuses and wiring under the seats, the issue persists. A suggestion was made to inspect the airbag module connections for looseness or corrosion, as these are common causes. Given the complexity and potential risks, it is advised to have the vehicle professionally diagnosed and repaired.

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly is the airbag module located, and is it easy to access? Is there anything specific I should look for besides loose connections or corrosion?

It's usually under the center console, but honestly, getting to it can be a bit tricky, and messing with airbag systems can be risky. Given your mileage and the age of the car, it's likely a cable or plug connection causing the issue. If you're not super comfortable, I'd recommend getting it scanned at a workshop. In my case the repair bill was around 95€

Appreciate the advice! Sounds like it's best left to the professionals this time. I'll take it to a workshop and have them diagnose the issue. Hopefully, it's just a loose connection like you suggested. I will post how it turns out.

Hey, I had a similar issue with my Amaze. That airbag light can be a pain. Did you check the connections to the airbag module itself? Sometimes they can get loose or corroded. I'd start there. I've heard of some cases where it's just a faulty connector.
