Amaze ECU error and power loss
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Honda Amaze diesel experienced a sudden loss of engine power and displayed a check engine light, indicating an error with the engine control unit (ECU). The issue was suspected to be caused by a defective main relay. After consulting with others who had similar experiences, it was confirmed that replacing the faulty relay resolved the problem, restoring the vehicle's performance without needing to replace the entire ECU.

Yeah, it's definitely not running smoothly. It feels like it's misfiring sometimes. What was the fix for your car's issue? Did you have to replace the whole ECU?

Don't panic just yet. In my case, it turned out to be a faulty relay affecting the ECU. Best to get it checked out at a workshop. They can properly diagnose and replace the relay if that's the cause. Much cheaper than a new ECU! I ended up paying around 120€

Thanks for the info! I took it to the shop, and you were spot on – defective main relay. They replaced it, cleared the error codes, and now it's running perfectly again. Saved me a fortune! I really appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my Amaze. Reduced power and an ECU error. Is it running rough at all?
