Amaze Undervoltage Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Honda Amaze with a gasoline engine is experiencing an undervoltage issue at 149,170 km, leading to poor starting, system failures, and weak lights. The suspected cause is a weak or defective battery, as indicated by a low resting voltage of 11.8V. It is recommended to check the battery and charging system, with a likely solution being the replacement of the battery. The issue was confirmed to be a bad battery, which was resolved at a repair shop.

I haven't checked the exact voltage drop during startup, but the resting voltage was around 11.8V. Is that similar to what you experienced before you fixed the issue?

11.8V is definitely low. Mine was similar. Given the symptoms and that voltage, your battery is likely heavily discharged or defective. I suggest having a workshop check the charging system too, but prepare for a new battery.

Thanks for confirming. I took it to the shop, and they confirmed it was a bad battery. Total repair cost was 290€. Appreciate the help!

Undervoltage on an Amaze? Yes, I've encountered something similar. What's the battery voltage reading when the engine is off, and what's it dropping to during startup?
