When you say check the motor itself, are you referring to testing the voltage at the blower motor connector, or physically removing the motor and inspecting it? Also, was the air flow completely dead, or was it intermittent?

Voltage check is a good start, but in my case, the motor was just plain dead. No air flow at all. Honestly, I just took it to a shop and they confirmed it was the blower motor itself. Saved me a bunch of hassle.

Understood. Appreciate the advice. I was hoping to avoid a shop visit, but it sounds like that's the wisest course of action. Blower motor was indeed defective, workshop confirmed this. Total repair including parts came to 365€.

I had a similar issue with my AMG GT. The blower motor stopped working completely. Check the motor itself before diving into the wiring. Could save you some time.
