Control module, huh? Where exactly is that located, and how would I check it?

Checking it yourself might be tricky without the right tools. I didn't dig too deep myself. But from what I read, the range control system relies on those servomotors inside the headlight assembly to adjust the beam. If they fail, you get the issues you're describing. Seems like a defective servomotor is a likely cause. Best to take it to a workshop. My similar problem ended up costing me around 1040€ to repair.

Thanks for the info. Workshop confirmed it was the servomotor, just as suspected. Replaced it, and the headlight range control fault is gone. Cost was similar to what you paid.

Whoa, sounds familiar! I have an AMG GT as well, though I'm not sure about the year. Had a similar issue with my lighting system. The light intensity was totally off and the beam adjustment was wonky. It was like driving with a pair of flashlights pointing in different directions. Did you check the control module? That's where my problem started. It could be sending the wrong signals to the servomotors.
