Argo Headlight Washer Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Fiat Argo owner reported a failure in the headlight cleaning system and windshield washer. The suspected cause was a defective cable connection to the pump or relay. After checking the fluid level and considering shared components like the pump, it was advised to visit a workshop for diagnosis. The issue was confirmed as a defective cable connection to the pump, which was repaired at a cost.

Yeah, it's the LED setup. Fluid level is fine, first thing I checked. You reckon it's definitely the same pump for both systems?

Well, I'm not 100% sure on the Argo specifically, but it's often the case. If neither is working, and you've checked the obvious (fluid, fuse), it really points to a shared component, like a pump or relay. Honestly, electrical gremlins can be a nightmare. Might be worth a quick visit to a workshop to get it diagnosed properly before throwing parts at it.

Cheers for the advice! Took it to the shop, and you were spot on - cable connection of pump defective. Cost me 165€ to get sorted.

Hmm, weird. Headlight washers, especially on newer cars, can be a pain. Is yours a Xenon or LED setup? I didn't even realize the Argo had those as an option. Could be a fuse, or maybe the pump itself is shot? If it's the same pump for both, that's a pretty good clue! You checked the fluid level, right? Sounds obvious, but gotta ask!
