Rough idle, yeah, that's another symptom I forgot to mention. MAP sensor, eh? Did you try cleaning it first, or did you just go straight for a replacement?

Nah, didn't bother cleaning it. Figured if it was that bad, a replacement was the way to go. Plus, I didn't want to risk messing anything up more. Honestly, I'd just take it to a workshop. Vacuum leaks can be a real pain to track down, and messing with sensors without proper tools can be like performing surgery with a butter knife.

Appreciate the input. Took it to the shop, and you called it – faulty manifold pressure sensor. Replaced it, cost me 235€, and the car's back to its old self. Thanks for the advice!

Oh, that sounds rough! I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane. Check engine light, sluggish performance... it felt like the car was breathing through a straw! Is it idling rough too? For me, it turned out to be a faulty MAP sensor.
