Argo parking assist failure
Summary of the thread

I haven't checked individual sensor connections yet, only the main module connection. The error code doesn't specify a sensor, just 'parking aid fault'. Worth checking each sensor plug?

Yes, definitely check each sensor plug individually. Given the 'parking aid fault' generic code and your mileage, a failing sensor is less likely than a connection issue. After checking the plugs, if the problem persists, you'll have to go to a workshop.

Thanks. I checked the sensor plugs; one was loose. Plugged it back in, cleared the code, and it's working again. Repair cost 95€ at the workshop for error diagnosis.

Sounds like a classic case of faulty wiring. The sensors themselves are usually pretty robust. Have you checked the connections to the parking sensors, especially the ones in the rear bumper? Sometimes a loose connection or corrosion can cause this. Also, did the error code specify which sensor is causing the issue?
