Arkana AC malfunction
Summary of the thread
The 2022 Renault Arkana's AC is malfunctioning, failing to cool or switch on, despite the fuses and relay being intact. A similar issue was resolved by addressing defective internal valves that disrupted refrigerant flow, or a faulty pressure switch preventing compressor engagement. Professional inspection is recommended for accurate diagnosis and repair.

When you say 'defective valve,' could you say which specific valves might be the cause? Did you notice any other symptoms, like unusual noises from the AC compressor area? Trying to narrow things down before a workshop visit.

It turned out to be several internal valves that weren't regulating the refrigerant flow correctly. No unusual noises, just warm air. I'd advise getting it checked by a professional, as diagnosing AC issues can be tricky and requires specialized equipment. The estimated repair cost was around 1000€.

I appreciate the information. I'll schedule an appointment with a qualified mechanic to have the AC system inspected. Thanks again.

I had a similar issue with my Renault Arkana. My AC stopped blowing cold air too. I suspect it could be a defective valve within the AC system itself. Could also be the pressure switch is acting up, preventing the compressor from engaging.
