Arkana automatic transmission issues

Now that you mention it, the car battery did die a couple of weeks back, and I had to jump-start it. Could that have damaged the transmission or messed with the oil?

The jump start itself wouldn't necessarily damage the transmission, but the undervoltage event preceding it could well be the root cause. It's a good idea to get the transmission oil checked and possibly replaced. Afterwards, clear the error codes. Expect around 240€ for the repair.

Thanks for the info. Took it to the workshop today, and you were spot on. The oil was indeed worn out, likely due to the undervoltage issue. Changed the oil, and the shifting is smooth again. Cost me 240€ as you said. Appreciate the help!

Sounds like a plausible theory. Has the car experienced any electrical issues, such as undervoltage, prior to this? Automatic transmissions are sensitive to voltage fluctuations, and this can manifest in the way you described.
