Arkana charge air temperature sensor error
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Renault Arkana hybrid experienced a check engine light, reduced engine power, and a whistling noise, with a diagnostic scan indicating a charge air temperature sensor error. The issue was suspected to be due to a defective cable or plug connection. Advice from another owner suggested checking the sensor connections, specifically the plug connecting to the sensor. Upon professional inspection, a loose connection was confirmed and repaired, resolving the problem.

Thanks for the quick response! When you say 'sensor connections', do you mean specifically the plug that connects to the charge air temperature sensor itself, or are there other connections I should be looking at?

Yes, I meant the plug that connects directly to the sensor. I didn't want to mess with it too much, so I took it to a workshop. They confirmed it was the sensor connection. Probably best to do the same.

Appreciate the insight! I followed your advice and took it to a shop. They found a loose connection as suspected. Repair cost me 95€. All sorted now, thanks again!

I had a similar issue with my Arkana. Same symptoms: check engine light, power loss, and that weird hissing sound. I would check the sensor connections first like you said. Could be something simple.
