Arkana check engine light air valve issue

I've got a 2021 Renault Arkana with a gasoline engine that's throwing up a check engine light. The car has 53622 km on the clock. I suspect it might be related to the air valve system. I've checked for vacuum leaks around the intake manifold and throttle body, but haven't found anything concrete. My gut feeling is telling me it’s a defective hose connection from the pump to the valve. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Hey! I had a similar problem with my Arkana. The check engine light kept popping up. I also suspected a vacuum leak, like a tiny hole in a balloon. Did you check the hoses thoroughly? Sometimes it's a small crack that's hard to spot.

Thanks for the reply! I've visually inspected the hoses, but I haven't done a proper smoke test yet. Where exactly was the leak located in your case? Was it also related to the air valve system, or was it somewhere else entirely?

In my case, it was indeed the hose connecting to the air valve. I didn't manage to fix it myself. I went to a workshop, and they confirmed the issue. Replacing the hose solved the problem.

Thanks a lot for the information! It's really helpful to know that someone else had a similar issue with the air valve hose. I took it to the shop, and it was exactly what you said – a faulty hose from the pump to the valve. The repair cost me 175€ Appreciate the help!
