Arkana climate control malfunction

My 2020 Renault Arkana with a gasoline engine has an issue. The automatic temperature control isn't working. The AC won't switch on, and there's an interior temperature sensor error stored. I suspect a bad cable or plug connection. Anyone else seen this?

I have an Arkana too, and I had a similar climate control issue. The system was totally unresponsive. Did you check the sensor diagnostics with an OBD scanner, or just the error memory?

Thanks. I checked the error memory with an OBD scanner and confirmed the temperature sensor fault. I haven't done in-depth sensor diagnostics yet, though. What diagnostic steps did you take to fix your similar issue?

My symptoms were the same. Given your diagnostics, it's probably the same problem. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop soon. It shouldn't cost too much.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and it was a bad connection to the interior temperature sensor, like we thought. The repair was 95€.
