Thanks! I haven't checked the clock spring or brake light switch. Where can I find these and how can I test them before going to a workshop?

The clock spring is behind the steering wheel; it lets the steering wheel turn while keeping the electrical connection for the airbag, horn, and cruise controls. Testing it yourself can be tricky and dangerous because of the airbag. For the brake pedal switch, try reading the values with an OBD reader. Honestly, with electrical issues like this, you’re better off taking it to a workshop for a proper diagnosis. It could save you hassle and safety risks.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. The workshop found a defective connection causing the cruise control to fail. The repair cost was 95€. Thanks again!

I had a similar issue with my Arkana! No fun at all. Have you checked the clock spring? It's a common culprit for cruise control malfunctions. Also, while you checked the brake lights, did you specifically test the brake light switch near the pedal? A faulty signal from there can disable the cruise control system.
