Arkana Defrost Air Distribution Flap Error

I've got a 2022 Renault Arkana hybrid with about 207k km. I'm getting an error related to the defrost air distribution flap, and the heating output is really low. I suspect a bad connection somewhere. Anyone seen this before?

I have an Arkana too, though not a hybrid. I had something similar. It felt like my heater core was only half-working, like trying to dry your hair with a travel dryer when you're used to a salon one. Was an error stored in the system?

Yeah, there's an error code stored. That's how I knew where to start looking. Was yours definitely the same flap, or something else like the blower motor?

Pretty sure it was the same flap issue – defrost air distribution flap faulty rings a bell. Could be a dodgy cable or plug, just like you guessed. Honestly, I wouldn't mess with the dashboard panel too much unless you are super comfortable. Better bite the bullet and have a workshop take a look. I think I paid around 95€ for the fix back then. Better that than accidentally messing up your climate control system. It's like open heart surgery for your car!

Thanks for the insight! I'll take it to a workshop and mention the possible cable/plug issue. Sounds like the quickest way to resolve this. My bill was also 95€. Apparently, it was actually the cable or plug connection of the component. Cheers!
