A dodgy door sensor, eh? Where exactly do I find the cable and plug connections to check? I'm not the most mechanically gifted person.

Honestly, it's a pain to get to. You'd need to remove the door panel. Considering it was the sensor for me, I'd take it to a workshop, save yourself the headache. They can diagnose it properly. Was an easy fix for them!

Right, workshop it is! Thanks for the insight. Turns out it was indeed a defective cable/plug connection. Cost me 95€ to fix! Appreciate the heads-up about the door sensor!

Ugh, sounds familiar! Had a similar gremlin with my old Audi A3. The automatic locks went haywire because of a dodgy door sensor. Have you checked the cable and plug connections to the door? Might be a loose or damaged connection.
