Arkana Emergency Call System Error
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Renault Arkana owner experienced an emergency call system error, indicated by a message on the speedometer and a warning light. The issue was suspected to be caused by a bad cable or plug connection. Another owner with a similar problem advised against resetting the system and recommended professional inspection. Thanks. The error seems random, no matter how long I drive. I haven't tried a reset yet. How did you fix yours? Was it a connection problem like I suspect?

Yeah, mine was doing the same thing, totally random. I wouldn't bother with the reset, it didn't work for me. Ended up taking it to the workshop. They found a faulty connection, just like you suspected. Best to get it checked professionally, those systems are pretty important.

Thanks for the advice. I booked a workshop appointment and wanted to share what happened. They confirmed it was a defective plug connection. Repair cost 95€. Thanks again for sharing your experience.

Oh man, that emergency call failure is the worst! I had something similar happen in my Arkana. Does it happen randomly, or only after you've been driving for a while? Did you try resetting the whole system?
