Arkana engine overheating air flaps

Has anyone encountered an issue with their Renault Arkana? Mine is a 2021 model with a gasoline engine, currently at 151191 km. Recently, the check engine light illuminated, and I've noticed the engine overheating. After a diagnostic scan, the error points to a fault with the active air flaps. It seems the electromechanism is defective. Has anyone experienced this?

I had something similar on my Arkana. Engine was running hotter than usual. Is it struggling to get up to temperature?

Thanks for your reply. It's more that it's overheating, rather than struggling to get up to temperature. Did your issue also trigger the check engine light, and did the diagnostic specifically point to the air intake flaps?

Yeah, check engine light came on. Diagnostic pointed to the air flap motor. I'd suggest getting it checked out at a workshop; could save you from more serious overheating damage.

Thank you for confirming. I appreciate your advice. The workshop confirmed the electromechanism was faulty; the repair cost came to 590€. Hopefully, this resolves the issue.
