Arkana generator fault
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Renault Arkana owner is experiencing reduced engine power, a warning light, starting issues, and flickering lights, with an error memory indicating a generator fault. These symptoms suggest a defective generator, confirmed by another Arkana owner who faced similar issues. The recommendation is to have the generator checked and repaired promptly to prevent further electrical damage.

Yeah, I did check the voltage, and it's all over the place. Huge voltage drop when starting. No weird smells, though. What exactly was the issue with yours? Was it definitely the generator?

Okay, voltage drop is a massive red flag. Mine was indeed the generator; completely shot. It was like trying to run a marathon with a punctured lung. Seriously crippled the car! Get it checked out professionally ASAP; a faulty generator can cause all sorts of electrical gremlins. Could end up frying other components if you leave it too long.

Thanks for the insight! Looks like I'm off to the workshop. The repair bill came out at 960€. Better safe than sorry. Cheers!

ARKANA

Sounds damn familiar! I've got an Arkana too, and had similar symptoms a few months back. Reduced power, flickering lights like a dodgy disco, and the car was barely turning over. The whole electrical system felt like it was about to give up the ghost. Did you check the voltage? Any weird smells?
