Arkana GPS Failure

Hey! I have the same car model, though I cannot remember what year mine was built, and I experienced a similar issue not too long ago. Basically, my navigation system would not receive any satellite signals. This was particularly annoying, as I depend on it quite a bit. The GPS just showed that I was off-road, somewhere in the ocean… I also initially suspected the antenna, or some kind of signal interference, but I was not able to fix this myself.

I'm interested to know if you also suspected signal interference or problems with the car's electronics before focusing on the GPS antenna.

Yes, the symptoms were pretty much the same. An error in the memory, and no GPS signal. I did check the antenna cable in the GPS module, but it seemed okay. I am not very experienced, so I did not want to break anything. I would suggest you bring the car to a workshop, they can easily diagnose a defective GPS antenna.
