Arkana High Voltage System Error

I've got a 2023 Renault Arkana hybrid and I'm experiencing a weird high-voltage system error. The error is stored in the error memory, the engine shuts off intermittently, and engine power is significantly reduced when it's running. I've already checked the basics – fuses seem fine, but I suspect it might be a battery drain issue. Mileage is at 241386 km. Anyone else run into this?

Sounds familiar. I had similar symptoms in my Arkana. Did you check the 12V battery? A heavily discharged or defective battery can cause all sorts of electrical gremlins in these systems. Is the error message constantly appearing, or just intermittently?

Thanks for the quick response! I haven't specifically tested the 12V battery's health, just visually inspected it for damage. The error message pops up intermittently, usually after driving for about 30 minutes. Could a faulty battery really cause such drastic issues with the high-voltage system?

Yep, a weak 12V battery can definitely mess with the high-voltage system. The car's electronics are very sensitive to voltage drops. Given the intermittent nature and the error codes, I'd get the battery properly tested. If it is fine, then get the wiring checked. In my case it was indeed the battery so I would recommend taking it to a workshop

Thanks a lot for the advice! I took it to a local shop, and you were spot on – the 12V battery was indeed defective. Replacing it for 290€ sorted everything out. I really appreciate the help!
