Thanks! I'll check the terminals. Could you elaborate on what caused the problem on your Opel? Was it the battery sensor, or something else?

In my case, it was indeed the battery sensor. The garage confirmed it after running diagnostics. I suggest you take your Arkana to a workshop for a professional diagnosis. It’s better to be safe than sorry, especially with hybrid systems.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I brought the car to a workshop, and they confirmed it was a faulty battery sensor, like we thought! The repair cost me 315€, but the issue is resolved.

I had a similar experience with my Opel Insignia. Same symptoms: error messages, dimming lights, and starting problems. It could be a faulty sensor causing the battery to drain, as you suspect. Check the battery terminals for corrosion and ensure they're properly tightened. A bad connection can also cause these issues.
