Arkana Hybrid Fuel Delivery Issue

I'm having trouble with my 2021 Renault Arkana hybrid. At 191999 km, the engine won't start reliably, stalls at idle, and the check engine light is on. It runs rough, and fuel consumption is up. A scan shows an error. I suspect the fuel pump, but could a bad cable or plug connection be the problem? I've checked the visible wiring but lack the tools for a full diagnosis.

Sounds like a proper PITA. Before you drop serious coin on a new pump, did you check the basics? Fuel filter clogged? Relay switch working properly? Sometimes it's the simple things that cause the biggest headaches. A bad connection could definitely be the cause, especially with those symptoms.

Regarding the relay switch, what's the best way to check if it's working? Are there specific voltage or resistance values I should look for?

Honestly, with those miles and symptoms, and given you've already checked the obvious wiring, it's probably best to get it on a proper diagnostic machine at a workshop. Could be a faulty sensor throwing things off too, but my gut says fuel pump issue given the stalling and hard starts. Those hybrid systems can be tricky.

Following your recommendation, I took it to a workshop for a diagnostic evaluation. It turned out to be a defective cable connection to the fuel pump, as suspected. The repair was only 95€, much less than a fuel pump replacement. Your advice saved me a lot of money. Thanks again.
