Arkana hybrid knocking reduced power

Sounds rough! I had a similar issue with my old Volvo V60, though it was a diesel. Reduced power, weird noises… Does it happen all the time, or just when the engine's cold?

It's definitely worse when the engine is cold, but it doesn't entirely disappear when it warms up. Any more details on your Volvo experience?

Yeah, mine was the same. Got progressively worse. Honestly, after messing about trying to diagnose it myself, I ended up taking it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly. Might save you a lot of hassle!

Thanks for the advice! Looks like a trip to the workshop is unavoidable. They confirmed it was deposits in the combustion chamber and quoted me 425€ for the repair. Appreciate you sharing your experience!
