Arkana mixture preparation error
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Renault Arkana with a gasoline engine is experiencing a 'mixture preparation error,' leading to reduced engine power, rough idling, and stalling. The issue is suspected to be related to the fuel injection system or an imbalance in the air-fuel ratio. After consulting with others who had similar problems, it was determined that a defective injector was the cause. Replacing the faulty injector resolved the issue, restoring the vehicle's performance.

Injectors, huh? That's what I was afraid of. What exactly happened with yours? Was it a total failure, or just a gradual decline in performance?

For me, it was a defective injector. After a diagnosis, it was found to be faulty and caused the problems. I recommend getting it checked at a workshop to be sure.

Thanks for the tip! I took it to a shop, and you were spot on – it was a defective injector! Repair cost me 515€, but at least the Arkana is running smoothly again. Appreciate the help!

ARKANA

Sounds familiar. I had similar symptoms with my Arkana. Reduced power and the check engine light were the first signs. Have you checked the injectors?
