Arkana Oil Level Sensor Fault

I've got a 2022 Renault Arkana hybrid with just over 200k km. The speedometer shows an error message related to the oil level, and a diagnostic came up with "oil level sensor/oil level sensor signal faulty". Also, an oil pressure warning lamp lights up. I'm guessing it's a faulty sensor, maybe a bad connection? The error code says the likely cause is a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone seen this before?

I also own an Arkana, and I had a similar experience. Does the oil pressure warning lamp light up constantly, or only intermittently? Have you checked the oil level manually with the dipstick to ensure it's actually within the normal range?

The oil pressure warning lamp lights up intermittently. The strange thing is that the error appears and disappears randomly. And yes, the oil level itself is fine when I check it manually.

Okay, intermittent issues are the worst! Given that the actual oil level is fine and the connections are suspect, I would suggest a workshop to inspect the wiring and replace the sensor. This seems like a classic faulty sensor issue and not something easily fixed without the proper tools.

Thanks for the advice. Took it to the workshop and you were spot on. It was indeed the oil level sensor. They replaced it and cleared the error – total cost was 95€. Appreciate your help!
