Arkana Overheating and Coolant Leak
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Renault Arkana hybrid experienced engine overheating, a check engine light, and a coolant leak. Yeah, it was! A control unit communication error. The diagnostics pointed to that. What did you end up doing about it?

Yep, sounds like the same thing. I spent ages looking for the diagnostic trouble code and all that. In the end, it turned out to be a wiring issue causing the communication fault. Honestly, save yourself the headache and get it to a workshop. They'll sort the wiring properly.

Thanks! I appreciate the advice. Took it to the shop, and you were spot on – a defective cable or plug connection was the issue, causing the communication fault. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted.

Hey, that sounds familiar! I have a Renault Arkana too, and I had a similar scare last year. Was it a control unit communication error showing up when you ran diagnostics? It caused all sorts of weirdness.
