Arkana Stalling Engine Light
Summary of the thread
A 2019 gasoline Arkana with 244,291 kilometers is experiencing stalling and a check engine light. Possible causes include a loose gas cap or a malfunctioning tank ventilation valve, potentially linked to the EVAP system. Another owner with similar symptoms found the issue to be a faulty tank ventilation valve, worsened by clogged hoses. The suggested solution is to inspect and possibly replace the tank ventilation valve to resolve the problem.

Thanks, I haven't listened for unusual sounds from the fuel tank, but I will now. Did the problem persist, or was it intermittent like the check engine light? Did you ever find the cause?

The problem persisted and worsened until the engine stalled more often. I'd have the tank ventilation valve checked ASAP; that was my issue. A local workshop diagnosed the faulty valve. The repair was around 175€.

I appreciate you sharing your experience. It's helpful to hear from another Arkana owner with a similar issue. Given your recommendation, I'll schedule an appointment to have the tank ventilation valve inspected and replaced if needed. I will report back. It turns out to be clogged hoses which caused the ventilation valve malfunction.

I have an Arkana and had similar symptoms recently: intermittent check engine light and hesitation at idle. Did you notice any unusual sounds from the fuel tank area or check for clogged hoses?
