Arkana Window Regulators Fail After Battery Change
Summary of the thread
After replacing the battery in a 2021 Renault Arkana, the window regulators failed to initialize, leaving the power windows non-functional and storing an error code. A suggested solution was to perform a reset by holding the window switch up, but this was unsuccessful. The issue was resolved by taking the car to a workshop for a full regulator reset, indicating a potential software or electronic problem.

Yes, tried that multiple times. No luck. Also tried disconnecting the battery again, hoping for a reset. Still nothing. Could it be a deeper electronic issue?

Sounds familiar. I struggled with that reset procedure for ages, then ended up taking mine to a workshop. They sorted it out quickly. Could be a software thing perhaps? Better safe than sorry, wouldn't you agree?

Thanks for the confirmation. I suspected as much. Booked it in for diagnostics; ended up being a full regulator reset. Cost me 290€ but at least it's sorted. Appreciate the help!

I have an Arkana too, and I had a similar issue after disconnecting the battery. Did you try the reset procedure where you hold the window switch up for a few seconds after the window is fully closed?
