Armada bumper antenna issues

I'm having trouble with what I think is the bumper antenna on my 2016 Nissan Armada with a gasoline engine. I've got a fault stored, the central locking is acting up, and the engine won't start unless the key is in the ignition. I suspect a bad cable or plug. Anyone seen this before?

Whoa, sounds familiar! I had something similar happen with my Armada. It was the antenna, alright. The whole thing went haywire. Is your keyless entry acting up too?

Yes, the keyless entry is acting erratically. The remote often fails. What troubleshooting did you do to fix it? Did you do it yourself?

Yep, that's exactly what I had. I messed with it for an afternoon, checking connections and such, but honestly, just took it to the shop after that. Best bet, I reckon, before you make things worse.

Thanks for the advice. I'll take it to a technician for a diagnostic assessment and repair, probably an antenna replacement or cable repair, costing around 95€.
